Partnership Success Stories
Carhartt Workshop Garden Bed Initiative
MATP recently partnered with the Carhartt Workshop to bring raised garden beds to communities where they could make the biggest difference. Carhartt generously donated the raised garden beds, and we helped deliver them to communities across Michigan's Upper Peninsula, including Hannahville Visions Center, Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, Debweyendan Indigenous Garden, and the Marquette/Alger RESA.
AT Specialists Jileesa and Abby went above and beyond by not only building and delivering the beds but also offering hands-on demonstrations of accessible gardening tools to create access for individuals to grow and garden with ease.

The Power of Collaboration
These partnerships demonstrate our commitment to reaching every corner of Michigan with assistive technology resources. By working together, we create a network of support that ensures no individual with a disability is left without access to the technology that can transform their life.
Whether through hands-on demonstrations in rural communities, training sessions for service providers, or innovative community initiatives like accessible gardening, our collaborations amplify our impact and create lasting change across the state.
